Now that our Second Edition of Italianliciousness is under our belts (which we loosened), we continued our journey for Lunch on Friday at "Lasagna House-1960" and hopefully will see Matt Vernon. We arrived when we wanted to get there and Matt was just about to leave running errands. He stuck around for a while and we chatted bringing us both up-to-date on our 'everything'. Matt had to leave and we stayed to enjoy more Italianliciousness. Shannon is our Server and he took our drink order while we looked over the menu. When he returned we placed our order. My Wife is going with a bowl of their 'Soup of the Day' - "Chicken-BACON-Ranch" (or something like that) They Create their Fresh Soup and give it a name - and I forgot what this one was. I am having the same Soup, but in a Cup along with a Half Sandwich. Choices are "Po-Boy, Meatball or Sausage" (I went with Sausage); Spicy Sliced Italian Linked Sausage with sauteed Bell Peppers & Onions on French Bread topped with Pomodoro Sauce. While we waited for our food we enjoyed Lasagna House-1960 Famous Garlic Bread - and is this every Garlicky - along with Oils & Spices to spread on top. Love the Garlicky Crunch you get with these - which will also keep those Vampires away. Soon our Soup arrived and it does look Delicious. I added some of those Red Pepper Flakes to mine. This 'Chicken-BACON-Ranch' Soup is Extra-Richly-Creamy-liciousness. We both LoVe this Soup. Now for my "Sausage Sandwich". This thing is pretty big with a lot of Pomodoro Sauce atop all the inside Stuff - and there is a lot of Stuff in this Sandwich. First of all, the French Bread is really Fresh and Tasty and the whole thing is Super-Spicy-Licious - and I mean 'almost hot' with heat, but in a good way. I LiKe Spicy and this Sausage Sandwich has that - times two. The French Bread helps cool it down a little bit. The Italian Linked Sausage is Mighty-Meaty and Very Flavorful by itself. This is One-Great-Sandwich. After we finished our Lunch I wanted to have some of that Gelato. Lasagna House-1960 has Nundini's Gelato of many flavors for you to enjoy. I chose a scoop of Raspberry because I LoVe RaSpBeRrY anything. Shannon scooped it up and this Raspberry is really a Deep Raspberry Color. It's also Very Thick, Creamy and Extra Strong on the Raspberry Flavor - LoVe It. Wish I had room for all the other flavors, but my Tummy is only Sooooo Big - and I don't want to get it any bigger. It was great seeing Matt once again and hopefully we will see him when we return to the area sometime down the road. If you want to try some Extra Delicious Italian, go to Lasagna House-1960. Check'em out on Facebook - Lasagna House - 1960 - Their Lasagna is Awesomelyliciousness. Shannon earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award for going 'above-&-beyond' the norm. All the Staff here at Lasagna House-1960 is Awesome. If you LoVe Italian as much as we do, you will be here soon.

Small family owned place with great food-atmosphere is nice, but night time the area outside needs caution due to the bingo hall. Lasagna is unique and yummy, pasta is fresh and all items were delicious! Nice staff, quick service!

My recent visit here, had me thoroughly impressed! I opted for the chicken Alfredo, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The pasta was perfectly cooked to al dente, generously coated in a creamy, flavorful Alfredo sauce that was rich without being overwhelming. The grilled chicken on top was tender and added a satisfying protein element to the dish. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal.

With all the chain restaurants seemingly popping up on every corner and shopping center it's easy to lose sight of independent restaurants. Today, my wife and I decided to visit an old-time favorite, Lasagna House and we certainly were not disappointed. Actually, our food and service blew away our expectations. We started with the sausage, peppers & onions appetizer followed by two great entrees - Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Scaloppine. OMG the fresh herbs, which are gown in the restaurant's herb garden took every bite to a different level. Our server, Andrea ensured a totally great dining experience.

When my husband recommended me this place, i didn't know what to expect. I had just gotten off work and was down to eat anything at this point. When we arrived i was like alright this is a cute little hole in the wall type of place. The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and i felt like i was at an aunts house ready to feast. When we were sat down the waitress brought over some fresh garlic bread with oil ( not pictured) and im not a bread type of girlie but omg it was to die for ! My husband decided since we are here we might as well try their appetizers and we went with the appetizer combo that comes with fried mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli and bruschetta. The mozzarella sticks were my favorite! They had a nice crunch, well seasoned and cheesy of course. The fried ravioli was also really great and i didn't have a chance to try the bruschetta because by that time our food was already out :) which i loved because i was starving lol. Y'all when i saw my plate of pasta i knew i made the right choice of coming here and not Olive Garden. It was such a great portion, super creamy, not salt, chicken well seasoned and packed with flavor. No my plate of pasta came with a house salad but for $1 or $2 i don't remember i upgraded it to a Cesar salad and yes it was soo goood! I feel like that just tied the whole meal together. My husband had the chicken parmagina with spaghetti and he didn't speak the entire meal which was a shocker lmao he loved the food so much he couldn't stop eating. For his meal he decided to go with a soup instead of salad and he said it was really delicious. This was definitely one of those places that surprised me and will definitely be some place i recommend my Friends to visit or even do a little catering for an event. Thank you for having us i can't wait to come back!
